The vibration frequency of Tibetan singing bowl is a healing frequency for the mind, body and soul. It is better to use a lower pitch (tone) singing bowl when using it for animals. Dogs and cats are more sensitive to high pitch sound which they may not feel comfortable by it.

However, using a low pitch singing bowl is very suitable for animals, avoid "hitting" the bowl too hard which will make a loud sound. Always be gentle when playing singing bowls for animals, play it softly and lightly. When using singing bowl on human, the bowls are usually placed on the human body but for animals, don't put it on the body because the weight is too heavy for small animals.
